Yi Huizhao was born in 1970 in Fuding, Fujian province. He studied painting at an early age and graduated from Fujian Applied Arts College. He studied under Hong Kong painter Zeng Grammar. In 1995, he set up oil painting studio to paint flowers, especially peonies. His works have been exhibited in many provinces and cities, and won the best award. Works have long been favored by collectors at home and abroad. In 2000, he studied at a China Academy of Art School. He is a member of Beijing painting and Calligraphy Association and Oil Painting Association, and a member of Fujian Oil Painting Association. 2008 works selected in the 12th East Coast Original Works Exhibition of Fujian Province 2009 works selected in the Fifth Youth Works Exhibition of Fujian Province 2011 participated in the HAILAI cross-strait Art Exhibition 2016 participated in the Beijing Art Fair.
